Terms And Conditions

Terms and Conditions regarding vehicles purchased through Coast2Coast Cars:

1. Prices

All prices quoted are inclusive of Vat, number plates, first vehicle registration, 12 months road fund licence and our administration fee. Home delivery is also included in most cases and will be confirmed when ordering.

All prices are fixed but may be subject to the Manufacturers price increase or changes to vehicle taxation charges.

2. Procedures

We act as a Broker for your purchase. We source your vehicle, liaise with, and introduce you to a U.K. Franchised Dealership.

We pass your order to the Dealer and retain contact regarding progress of your order until delivery.

An administration fee is payable to Coast2Coast Cars when you place your order and the amount is clearly shown on our vehicle quotation. Our fee is payable by credit or debit card.

A Vehicle Order Form, including full dealer information, will be forwarded to you when the order is placed and a signed copy should be returned to us.

Whilst we shall endeavour to accurately reflect your wishes within the vehicle order form, it is your responsibility to ensure that any contract documentation that you sign is accurate and that you have read any terms and conditions that may be applicable to your purchase.

3. Payments

Your contract for the purchase of your vehicle is with the Dealership and payment of deposit and final balance will be made direct to them.

A deposit of between £500 or 10% of the purchase price will be payable to the Dealer when the order is accepted by them. The Dealer will contact you shortly after receiving the order to obtain the relevant deposit and confirm your order details.

4. Data Protection Act

We are registered and comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. Accordingly personal information relating to the purchase of your vehicle and/or finance arrangements will be retained by us and passed to the supplying dealer and/or financial organisation where applicable.

5. Cancellation of our service

Our service is covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (the Regulations). Please be aware that once you have consented for us to start work on your behalf, the performance of our service will begin immediately and you will lose your right to cancel our service in accordance with the Regulations. Your oral consent is given once you have agreed by telephone for us to commence with our service and have supplied your credit or debit card details as confirmation. Alternatively, your consent can be sent to us in a durable form and includes for example, by email, by fax or by letter.

Any contract for the supply of the vehicle will be between yourselves and the supplier of the vehicle, and may still be binding on you. Please direct any such enquiries to the supplier.

6. Liabilities

We do not accept responsibility for:
Any faults or defects in the vehicle supplied;
Any losses that you may have with the level of service provided by the Dealer;
Any loss or damage that you suffer arising out of any breach of contract by the Dealer;
Any defect in the title of the vehicle.

Whilst we take every effort to find the most competitive price from franchised dealers with the United Kingdom, we cannot guarantee that the prices quote by us are the lowest available.

7. Delivery

All arrangements must be agreed between you and the Dealer. We do not accept any liability in the event that any vehicle is not delivered in accordance with any delivery arrangements you have agreed with the Dealer.

8. Governing Law

English law governs these terms and conditions and the parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

9. Statutory Rights

Nothing within these Terms and Conditions affect your statutory rights to purchase goods that comply with their description, are of satisfactory quality and are fit for purpose. Your vehicle will be supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty and you may be able to purchase additional warranty cover from the Dealer depending on the make and model of your vehicle.
